Role Purpose

The Senior Manager RPA is responsible for leading the company efforts in Robotic Process Automation. He/She will define, implement and manage strategies for a successful RPA delivery, working closely with the business units to develop and understand their business processes and deliver business automated solutions.

Main Responsibilities
Strategy:

• Define and implement the RPA strategy aligned with the organization’s digital transformation goals.
• Create a long-term automation roadmap to prioritize key areas for process automation, focusing on high-impact business functions and efficiency gains.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to identify opportunities for automation and ensure buy-in for RPA solutions
• Lead efforts to explore and integrate emerging technologies (e.g., artificial intelligence, machine learning) with RPA to enhance the organization’s digital capabilities.
• Provide strategic insights on the role of automation in business process reengineering and operational efficiency.
• Design conceptual architecture and technical solutions and lead efforts to develop and implement client-approved solution.

Operational:

• Develops and configures automation processes as per the technical design document (TDD) to meet the defined requirements.
• Develops new processes/tasks/objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand.
• Complies with and helps to enforce design and coding standards, policies and procedures.
• Works collaboratively with test teams during the Product test and UAT phases to fix assigned bugs with quality.
• Reports status, issues and risks to tech leads on a regular basis
• Improves skills in automation products by completing automation certification
• Lead and review your team’s work across all phases (plan, analyze, design, build and test)
• Direct efforts to define technical, operational and user requirements.

Corporate Governance (Regulatory & Compliance):

• Establish governance frameworks to ensure the effective and ethical use of RPA across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of data privacy and security within RPA implementations.
• Develop risk management strategies related to automation, ensuring that RPA initiatives comply with legal, regulatory, and security requirements

Leadership & Culture:

• Provide leadership and mentorship to the RPA development team, guiding them across all phases of RPA implementation, including planning, analysis, design, development, and testing.
• Encourage continuous learning and professional development within the team, including completion of relevant RPA certifications.
• Lead efforts to integrate automation with existing business systems to drive overall efficiency and competitiveness.
• Act as a cultural leader, driving the adoption of RPA practices across the organization.

Key Competencies

• Robotics Process Automation (RPA) experience (strategy, deployment, maintenance production support).
• Possess Change Management leadership skills.
• Customer service and cross-functional interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate, influence and gain commitment from multiple stakeholders.
• Strong facilitation and executive communication (written & verbal).
• Background in Project Management and Process optimization (LEAN, Six Sigma)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Business or other relevant field.
• Relevant RPA certifications are highly desirable (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere).

Relevant Experience

• Must have 4-6 years’ supervisory\Lead experience with a minimum of 1-2 years in RPA.
• Strong working knowledge in the usage and functionality of the RPA software preferably Blue Prism (Minimum 2- 3 years)
